About Tallahassee Women Lawyers

Tallahassee Women Lawyers (TWL) is a leading Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL), which has more than 35 such Chapters across Florida.

TWL promotes the status of women in the legal community and creates, improves, and maintains supportive networks among its members through mutual cooperation, respect, and friendship. Since its inception 40 years ago, TWL's leadership has inspired advancement throughout our legal community. TWL is frequently recognized locally, statewide and nationally for its award-winning programming and community service projects.

During the 2023-2024 year, TWL is offering virtual meetings (until it can resume a mixture of in-person lunch and dinner meetings) that are open to the public.  TWL's  meetings are typically held on the second Wednesday of each month

TWL also holds an Annual Judicial Reception, and annual nationally-recognized programs such as the Professional Women’s Empowerment Series, Spring Lunch and Learns, Breakfast & Books Program with the PACE Center for Girls, and other community programs for students interested in a legal career.
